"Thank you again for helping our precious Pit Bulls- We took our rescued girl out the other day to an event in town, she had her pink Santa Girl Coat on. EVERYONE had to comment and come pet her. Imagine all the people's minds we changed about Pit Bulls! " - Doris Drahonovsky RN

"We love what you ladies are doing and for all the hard work and long hours you put in this. Caleb is a rescue from a high kill shelter back in 2003, he is now 6 yrs old and a truly the most loyal and loveabull companion. We love your calendar, and we love Little Darling!" - Allison N Caleb Morris in Texas (Caleb pictured)

"I am a loving momma to my staffie mix (shes a foster, not sure her exact breed but I love her more then words can say). You see, she was taken to a shelter 2x where they wanted to immediately put her to sleep, thank God the woman that found her said NO and found a no kill shelter, where I found her. That was about 18 months ago. A bit battered, scarred, and emotionally shaken she has developed into my best friend. Shes even passed her CGC, temperament, and we take Agility for fun. I am currently in Houston, TX where I am an assistant organizer to a group of pitbull/bully group of over 220 parents of loving four legged bully breeds, I am also in the process of starting a pit/bully no kill rescue with 2 other girls. I love what you do and would be willing and happy to give my services as a Pinup, or whatever other services you need assistance with. There are very few things... if any... I would not do to help my innocent, loving, intelligent, wiggly, smiling four legged friends." - Teri Ann and Areba. See them on our More Pinups and Peep Show pages!

"I found your ad in the back of outlaw biker at the Harley dealer. You guys have to be some of the best people in the world.I adopted my Maddy 5 years ago from the local spca.I have 3 kids and she is the biggest baby and awsome with them. She does not have a mean bone in her body.I have always owned pitbulls because they are loving and beautiful but get the worst rap ever.I just wanted to send this to say thanks for just being the awsome people that you are and for helping a great breed of dog." Brandon Estes, N.Y

"My name is Shannon and my dog's name is Damien. I have to tell you that my boyfriend Justin and I love your website! We have ordered the calendar & a hoodie. We love Pit bulls and will never be without one and it's great to know that there are ppl out there who agree! I love to educate people and see the reaction as Damien just sits patiently waiting for attention. One of the best parts about owning a Pit is being able to open people's eyes and show them that it's not the dogs fault, another one is watching the faces of parents as there child rushes up to pet Damien and he is licking their face, getting loved on and we tell them he is a Pit. Between Justin and I we have been able to change the mind of several dozen people but we each have a special story in particular that we will never forget. I have to say that I love your logo so much and thinking about getting it as a tattoo. We really love what you ladies (and possibly gentlemen) are doing!  "I just found the 2009 calender site, ordered one instantly and have spent the past hour fawning over the pics of you lovely ladies and your bullies and the fan pics...Really, keep up the great work. What you are doing is noble and heroic. Some one has to stand up for these gentle, loving creatures. Joey Larsen and Annie, Salt Lake City, UT (Pictured)

"Growing up i've a lways wanted to own a pit bull, and on the mornig of June 3, 2004 i woke up to a slobbery kiss of a 3month old pitty that i now call Moose! He is my world. i live in a fairly coservative neighborhood and my Moose stands out wit his muscular stature, chizzled face and flopy ears but he loves the attention. I knew that i would have problems with other dog owners at the doggie parks, so i worked my hardest training him first. it wasn't hard...he is very food driven and attentive. When i finally took him to a doggie park i was so excited and he had a blast. He is a spunky, silly and clumsy dog. Everything but mean and agressive. He loves children and loves his life (and my shoes) =) I admire you for showing every one that this breed is one of the most beautiful & loyal breeds of dogs. Thank you!" - Randhi & Moosey (Pictured )

"I am a volunteer/foster for the MABBR and also the foster for Mahogany and Renzo. It is a wonderful rescue to work with and a wonderful group of people. I fell in love with the breed about 4 years ago when I was working at a vet clinic that held some of the pulled dogs for MABBR until a foster home was found. My husband and I are big fans of your calender and think that your talent and beauty used to help the the pitbull is fantastic. You are a daily thought at our house when we glance at our calendar ." Your biggest fans in Kansas, April and David Thompson and Tucker, Abby, Sam, Tyson, Indi, Presley, Thunder, Starr, Maugy and Renzo.

" I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you for everything you do. I volunteer for MABBR and you really have no idea how much your support means to us. I was literally moved to tears when we recieved your donation... sometimes it's hard to keep my head up when I know there are so many that we can't save, but your support has helped remind me that there are a lot of people out there on our side. Thank you so much for supporting our dogs. Our Oklahoma dogs are especially grateful to have the oppurtunity to just be dogs. -jules"

"I just found your website, and just wanted to say Thank You!!! I'm the proud mommy of Shadow, a pit bull that had been abandoned and left for dead. She was so skinny when an aquaintence found her that we didn't even know what breed she was. 3 vets told me to put her down because she was so malnourished - she couldn't even keep down what she ate anymore. I finally found a vet that was able to help me save her, and he very guardedly told me that she was a pit bull. He was terrified that I wouldn't want her, and I admit, I was a little nervous, but she'd lived with me while healing and never caused any problems. Today, at 12 years old she only weighs 60 pounds because she never grew to her full size potential. Shadow and I just want to thank you for doing what you can to save others like her and make sure that these wonderful dogs get a fair shake. When it comes time for me to adopt a new pup, I know I'll be looking for another bully that really needs help." - Sharon

"We read about your wonderful project in a small local newspaper here in Isreal; the funny thing is the article said "Strippers for Pitbulls" possibly because they just werent familiar with the term "Pinup". We belong to a small group of people in the punk/rockabilly scene and most of us have pitbulls/mix dogs. My boyfriend (who is a dog trainer) and I own 2 beautiful dogs; our female was used for breeding by dog fighters. We have the same problem in Israel that most pitbulls are put down straight away , as they are not legal, and the police don't do anything with the reports of dog fights. We loved your idea and would like to help. " Lots of love and respect, Noa and Eli

"I have not yet received the calendar, but I'm looking forward to seeing pretty women and fun dogs. My hat is off to you for supporting a breed which is unrightly labeled as "bad". I've known wonderful pit bulls which I would have no problem with if they played with my young grandson. There is nothing inherently bad with the breed, just with a few very bad owners. Thanks for efforts to remove the stigma attached to the breed." - BEW

"I just found out about your organization through the LA Times and rushed to buy your calendar. If you ever need an extra hand, please contact me anytime. I joined your fan page on Facebook and I’ve been writing in to the local papers when they publish sensationalized “pit bull attack” articles to show the other side. I am donating to the local shelter but want to be more involved. " - Corinne & Kunta (pictured above in our gallery, and also in our More Pinups page for image submissions 2010)

"I heard about you on NPR  and I just received my calendar. Outstanding!! It's well -designed, lthe photography is exceptional, and well-produced. Kudos. As both a dog lover and an admirer of attractive models, this is the tops in both. Lovely people with the dogs they love. Couldn't be a better combination. But more importantly, I admire your efforts to foster the breed and, as you say, 'separate the deed from the breed'. You are to be admired for your concern and your hard work for the breed. All the best to your future efforts, and I hope the calendar goes to a third or fourth printing." - Bruce

"There was an article about your project in last Sunday's (Springfield, MO) News-Leader Newspaper. I hadn't got around to acquiring a regular commercial Pit Calendar or ordering one from the Missouri Pit Bull Rescue in Independence, MO......so......I guess yours was what I was waiting for! I ordered an extra for my neighbors across the street who have a gentle giant pit (110 lbs!) named Candy. I have three myself, Red, Sonia and Little Dandy Belle. Of course, they are the sweetest dogs around, just ask me! We have BSL in Springfield but I just jump through all the cities stinking hoops and enjoy my girls anyway. BRAVO TO YOU!!!!!! For your efforts for the sake of a great, great breed. As I say, life's just too short to share it with anything less than a Pit Bull." Very Best Regards, Jim Stafford

"I've attached pics of my granddogs, Taboo and Freeway. Free had been a bait dog before my Dad found her on the freeway. Thank you so much. LOVE the calendar! "

"I'm buying this calendar for my guy and our little pound pit puppy, Greta. I'm happy to support such a wonderful cause. It's a shame how many dogs are going to have to die before people stop being scared and start having compassion for such a loving, gentle creature. Greta would never hurt a fly, unless she licked it to death. Thanks!" - Sara

"I am an avid Pit lover who wants to help in any way that I can. I have helped change perspectives of many people; my family. friends and previous co-workers on the breed and enjoy the hard processes in attempting to help others understand their ignorance. I myself was once terrified of the breed, mostly because of the media, but through my daughter's father have grown to love and cherish them. Unfortunately, due to old age and medical problems we were forced to put Kendall and AJ ([pictured in our gallery) to sleep about 4 years ago now, but still have Ozzy in the family; she is now 5 1/2 and he is my daughter's best friend. Which is why I am looking for a puppy for my son to grow with, I love the relationship and responsibility that Ozzy has given my daughter and want the same for my son who due this coming Memorial Day. Often when the subject arises and people ask what kind of dog I'm looking for and I tell them that I would never have any other than a pit around my child you should see their faces. Often, I feel like I am the only one who cares about stopping BSL." - Ashley E. Byrne, PA

Sgt. Timothy Thew got a package from The Pinup Angels, a great ogranization of gals that support our troops. Our #1 Soldier had this to say: "Hey! Got the package with the Calendar in it. Awesome pics and I love what you are doing for the pits. That's really a good thing that you all are doing. As a pit owner myself (a red nose), I think that it is due time for something to happen in their defense."

"I saw the article on your calendar on the Today Show website and have to say THANK YOU so much for all you do to help the pitbull breed!!!! I own a 10 year old male who we call Sweetpea and a 7 year old female who we call Princess. I also have a 7 month old daughter. While I had pitbulls for years and knew how great my dogs had been with kids, I was nervous when I first brought my daughter home. However, they have put every fear of mine to rest as they are the most loving dogs to her. I hope you continue doing what your doing in the fight to prove that it is not the breed we should be afraid of but the humans that mistreat them we should fear." - Jessica, TX
