Diesel
Diesel was one of a number of dogs found frozen in PA. Networking them through Facebook, we helped sponsor some of his recovery, neutering and wellness shots! Deisel has since then found a Forever home. Pics are coming soon.....
Spartacus and Justice
Spartacus is our Mr. February 2010, and was available through Missouri Pitbull Rescue. Spartacus was adopted successfully in 12/09.
Justice is our Mr. September 2010, and was available through Voorhees Animal Orphanage in NJ. He attended our Pitbull Awareness Day 2009 in Philly, and we had him on our Home page and sent out with blast emails. Happily, thanks to having exposure though our organization, Justice has been adopted as of 2/2010!!
Angel, Little Pet Project
Chance, NJAFA.org
Angel was emaciated and left for dead in 11/09, and we sponsored her through Little Pet Project. Since then she has completely recovered and has celebrated her one year anniversary with the folks at Little Pet Project. "We celebrated Angel's one year "birthday" yesterday, really the anniversary of the day we brought her home. Its been a year blessed with her wiggely butt and goofy smile. Angel is a true gift to us, and a daily reminder to just 'be happy....Thank you so much for your generous donation to our Angel." Meet Chance, an NJAFA.org sponsor Dog - Chance was recently adopted! We are so happy for him. Read an article on this case here: www.nj.com NJ Aid for Animals rescued Chance and two other pit bulls from a dog fighting ring in South Jersey. It was a daily roller coaster ride as vets struggled to bring him back from certain death. His scars and timid spirit are the sad result of a past full of abuse, but his love for people, belly rubs, fetch and a good meal are part of his promising future.
Cover Girl Ciera
We sponsored some of Ciera's vet /kennel bills during her initial rescue. Ciera came to Critter Crossings with many infections; besides being very sick and possibly pregnant, Ciera is deaf, and was in danger of not getting the care she needed or going to a good home. After numerous weeks of care, she got well and learned to work with hand signals at Critter Crossings rescue. She is now safe and in a loving home! Video of her cover shoot here!
Twinkle
Gucci
Meet this pretty little blue mini-pitti, named TWINKLE!! She was a last-day dog pulled from the Pasadena Shelter today thanks to Jennifer Warner of LosAngeles and other bully lovers on Facebook. Re-posting her info led to The Barking Lot in San Diego stepping up and pulling her. We donated funds toward her bills and kenneling. She's since found a forever home!
"With the money you dontated earlier this year, we pulled this beautiful girl out of a high kill shelter in Maryland. The volunteers contacted me because this dog named Gucci was so darn sweet and they didnt want to see her die. Someone from the shelter drove her all the way up here to PA to be safe. After staying with us about a month, Gucci ended up being adopted by a foster family and friend of mine. She loves everyone and is the sweetest darn dog! Thanks so much! " Sonya Schuler CVT (Sunrays Pit Bull Rescue)

"We would like to thank you for your kind donation in order to help Amanda and Butter. Your cause and generosity is something that I admire and I am so honored that these two dogs touch you the way they have touched all of us at Recycled Love." - Catalina Stirling, Pres., Recycled Love MD
Read about Butter Here! Read about Amanda here! UPDATE 11/09: Amanda homed, Butter fostered. Contact Recycled Love for more info.
"This darling dog is Champ, a 10 month old Boxer mix, left at a shelter's drop box in the night. Champ has a number of medical problems. His belly and crotch are covered in scar tissue that we suspect is due to thermal or chemical exposure. He has problems with his balance, possibly from tight, improperly healed scar tissue or being confined in a crate too small for him. He is also severely malnourished. This pup is incredibly good natured and loves being held and cuddled." Lizzy's Lodge, Inc. View Champ's Profile Here UPDATE: Champ was adopted! YAY! Thanks to Lizzy's Lodge , MD
